EVENTS LIST
Below you’ll find a list of events that are planned in and around our area in 2025. Most of these classic car shows take place in the central counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire. This list is far from exhaustive, and more events will be added throughout the year.
Note: As a club, we remain committed to displaying at those events that are free to exhibit at. There are a number of reasons for this policy, but first and foremost it is because we do not want any of our members to feel restricted from attending an event with the club due to financial considerations. To maintain and run a classic car is an expensive business, so to then have to pay to exhibit it, when it is the car that is the main attraction, is something we actively avoid. There are some exceptions to this, such as Castle Combe historic racing, where the car show is secondary to the racing event.
If members have particular events that they would like to attend as part of the club, then please contact us and let us know which ones, at info@whitehorse-cve.com. Once a decision is made on the events we plan to attend, each will be highlighted as follows . . .
Events highlighted in red are monthly WHCVE club meets.
Events highlighted in green are special club organised events.
Events highlighted in purple are ones that at this time we aim to have a group pitch at, where we can display members' vehicles under the club banner. We appreciate that it is not always easy to commit to displaying months or even weeks in advance, but if you can state an interest early, it'll help with organisation. If there is enough interest in these events from our members, we will do our best to arrange a club pitch.
Some events require pre-booking (do not delay), while others do not. We recommend that you always check the exact details with the organisers before attending. All information is correct at time of writing … TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE!! The onus is on you to check, as we cannot take responsibility for any errors.

Some informal regular meets in and around our area
These gatherings are not organised by the White Horse CVE or any formal club. Some require pre-booking, others you can just turn up on the day. Please let us know if you are interested in any of these and we will provide more details. We can organise club attendance if we have enough interest.
Breakfast at Browns - The Firs Farm, Leckhampstead, RG20 8RD, from 10am to 12 noon. Takes place first Saturday of the month throughout the year. Check if going ahead before going by contacting: 01488 505071.
Classic Saturdays - The Cottage Inn, 26 Broad Lane, Upper Bucklebury, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 6QJ. Takes place on the last Saturday lunchtime each month, all year round - 12.00 noon onwards. Check if going ahead before going by contacting: mail@classicsaturdays.co.uk
Hook Norton Brewery Classic Car and Motorcycle meet, Brewery Lane, Hook Norton, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX15 5NY. Takes place second Sunday of the month, January to October, between 10am and 1pm. The George Hotel, High St, Dorchester-on-Thames, OX10 7HH. Takes place every third Thursday of the month from 7pm. Check if going ahead before going by contacting: Richard or Caroline on 01865 340179.
The (Six Bells pub) Warborough Classic Car Meet, The Warborough and Shillingford Cricket Club, The Green S, Warborough, Wallingford, OX10 7DR.
Takes place every second Tuesday of the month from April to September, evenings. Six Bells pub is closed at present and so the cricket ground is being used. Check if going ahead before going by contacting Mark at:
